<p>This is my first post. Each post lives in its own folder under <code>posts/</code>, so images and data files for a post can sit right next to it.</p>
<section id="what-ill-write-about" class="level2">
<h2 class="anchored" data-anchor-id="what-ill-write-about">What I’ll write about</h2>
<ul>
<li>Data analysis and visualisation in R</li>
<li>Notes from projects I’m working on</li>
<li>Things I learned the hard way</li>
</ul>
</section>
<section id="code-works-too" class="level2">
<h2 class="anchored" data-anchor-id="code-works-too">Code works too</h2>
<p>Quarto posts can contain R or Python code. When you render the site on your computer, the code runs and its output appears in the post:</p>
<div class="code-copy-outer-scaffold"><div class="sourceCode" id="cb1" style="background: #f1f3f5;"><pre class="sourceCode r code-with-copy"><code class="sourceCode r"><span id="cb1-1"><span class="fu" style="color: #4758AB;
background-color: null;
font-style: inherit;">summary</span>(cars)</span></code></pre></div></div>
<p>The chunk above is just displayed. To make code actually run, open the chunk with <code>{r}</code> (curly braces) instead of plain <code>r</code>. The output is saved in the <code>_freeze/</code> folder, so the deploy server doesn’t need R installed.</p>
